Stourbridge’s Annual Military Vehicle Parade Returns for 2026!

Step back in time as Stourbridge celebrates the 1940s!

Stourbridge’s Annual Military Vehicle Parade returns on Saturday 7 November 2026 for its fifth year, promising to be bigger and better than ever! Bringing together an impressive collection of historic military vehicles, the event celebrates history, heritage and community, offering a fantastic day out for all ages.

Festivities begin from 8am as the military vehicles arrive and park on Lower High Street, from 11am the parade will join the ring road and proceed to Stourbridge High Street, where the parade will set off alongside The Shirley Pipe Band and local veterans, leading the procession through the town centre.

Once the parade has passed through, the vehicles will gather on the Lower High Street and remain there until 4pm, giving visitors the chance to get up close to these remarkable machines, chat with their owners, enjoy period music and soak up the atmosphere of the 1940s. This year also sees a new stage featuring live period music, adding even more entertainment to the celebrations.

With more than 50 vehicles taking part last year, there are some fantastic new visitors bringing their vehicles to Stourbridge for the first time in 2026. Look out for a brilliant line-up of entertainment, including a Vintage George Formby tribute, Peaky Blondie and Maggie Page, alongside plenty of 1940s-themed activities and surprises throughout the town centre.

Local businesses can also get involved in the Best Dressed Window Competition, helping transform Stourbridge into a vibrant celebration of wartime heritage.

During the day if you need any assistance please speak to anyone in a yellow hi-vis and they will be happy to help.

Road closures will be in place from 1am until 6pm on the following roads:

• High Street: No access
• Market Street: No access from High Street to Bell Street/Talbot Street junction. Bell Street and Talbot Street will remain open
• Lower High Street: if you will need access to/from Lower High Street between these times please contact the BID office for a resident’s pass.
