Stourbridge BID - Great British Tidy Day

Stourbridge Business Improvement District (BID) successfully delivered a community tidy day in Stourbridge town centre as part of the Great British Spring Clean, bringing together local businesses and residents to make a visible and lasting difference to the town.

The initiative saw volunteers from local business, Barclays and the wider community, David Sheppard and Ivor Caplan, come together to help clean and refresh key areas of the town centre. Their collective efforts significantly improved the town’s appearance, enhancing cleanliness and contributing positively to the overall visitor experience.

The tidy day was met with positive feedback from members of the public, who welcomed the improved environment and praised the collaborative community effort. The event not only delivered immediate visual benefits but also helped foster a stronger sense of pride and shared responsibility for the town.

This initiative and future tidy days have been made possible thanks to the generous support and sponsorship of Eden Midcalf Estate Agents. Their contribution has funded essential litter-picking equipment, first aid supplies, and the provision of first aid training, ensuring that all activities can be carried out safely and effectively.

Stourbridge BID is proud to work alongside partners who share a genuine commitment to the town. The support from Eden Midcalf Estate Agents reflects a shared ambition to drive forward meaningful improvements and create a cleaner, more welcoming environment for businesses, residents and visitors alike.
